Around the Bay
4 members of the club took to the streets of Hamilton to throw the hammer down. Both Josh & Tanis Bolton placed 8th overall male and female with Josh running 1:43:20 a 1min 10sec pb and Tanis running 1:59:00 a massive 12minute PB! Rob Brouillette ran an amazing race as well in very windy conditions with the hill back as well. He was 1 minute off his Pb on a harder course running 1:46:50. Mitch free ran a strong race placing 25th overall in 1:52:27 and 3rd in his age category 35-39.

Achilles 5km
1 week post chilly half marathon Josh, Tanis and Mike Thornton took to streets of Toronto for a 5km. Weather was freezing cold with slight winds. Tanis again ran a PB of 17:31 and placed 2nd overall. Josh was 3rd overall only 7seconds behind the leader running 15:30. Mike Thornton ran a strong race placing in the top 20 in 18:02.

Grand River Endurance started its season with 3 solid performances at the chilly half-marathon in Burlington. Tanis Smith led the way with the performance of the day running a PB of 1:20:16 which placed Tanis as 3rd overall female. Rob Brouillette came in 12th overall running his 2nd fastest half in 1:11:29. Mitch Free placed 15th overall in 1:13:40 at 39 years of age and turning over to a master in the fall.

Josh had an amazing year and that landed him a 3rd place overall in the Canadian Running Series points next to Eric Gillis, and Kip. His performances at Montreal, Race Roster and STWM Half all added up to some big points. Check it out on the CRS website!

Road2Hope Marathon
Mitch had some unfinished business with the marathon as the conditions were so poor at STWM and he knew he had the fitness for a PB. He took a few easy days post STWM and got right back to the grind to hold his fitness for a few more weeks. Road2Hope Marathon was the right call as Mitch killed it and placed 2nd overall with a huge 4minute PB of 2:35:11.

Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon & Half-Marathon
The Season's Finale came to it's end for many of our athletes on October 16th/16. The STWM also acted as the Canadian Marathon Championships for this year. The team ascended on this humid, above season temps, rainy oh so rainy day. The half went off tactically as Josh ran 1:08:49 for 3rd place overall, Rob ran 1:12:14 for a 7th place overall, and Mike T ran 1:21:56. The marathon was dubbed the "Marathon of Trials" for Tanis as this was her debut and after some major foot issues leading into the race, Tanis ran 3:03:42 for 10th CAN female. Mitch Free took to the roads and finished in 2:38:54 in 27th place overall.

CRS Oasis Zoo Run
Josh, Tanis and Rob headed back to Toronto a few weeks later to run CRS Zoo Run 10k. This was the first time Josh and Tanis had run this race. This course definitely came with its challenges including hills and sharp turns throughout. It was also a blast running alongside the exhibits. Josh came across the line in 5th place in 31:52, Rob 8th in 33:08, and Tanis was 3rd female in 37:38.

RBC Race for the Kids
3 of our crew members headed to Toronto Sept.17/16 to take down the RBC Race for the Kids for a good cause - raising money for kids and mental health wellbeing. Josh finished in 3rd after dueling for 1st the entire race up until the last kilometre and finished the 15k in 48:15. Rob comes in close behind for 4th place finish in 50:10. Tanis had some marathon miles in her legs and struggled but stayed tough to finish 3rd overall female.

Runner Rob retains his crown for the 2nd consecutive year of ENDURrun. Chasing pb's and trying to get closer to that all-time record, RunnerRob put himself to work over the 2nd week in August. The event: 160k, 7 stages, 8 days. Stage 1: 1/2 marathon, 1st place, 1:14:01. Stage 2: 15k time trial - 1 OA, 52:15. Stage 3: 30k XC - 1:58:12. Stage 4: 10miles, 1st, 59:34. Stage 5: Chicopee Ski Park 16miler XC, 1st, 2:13:46. Stage 6: 10k, 1st 34:34. Stage 7: 42.2k, 1st, 2:37:32. Wild Bruce Chase
While the boys chased down pb's, the girls were trailblazers on Canada Day long weekend. Heather and Tanis went seeking the blindly unknown and chased down them white blazes. The Wild Bruce Chase involved a team of 18 women who broke the Fastest Known Time Record for females running the Bruce Trail as a point-to-point. We took the record by over 2 days! Thanks to Josh and Rob for their support out there! 901.5km in 4 days, 1 hour, 39 minutes.

New Team Member Makes his Debut
Huge news as another beauty joins this team of awesomeness. We welcome Tyler Chacra to the team! This Oakville, ON native has a love for beer and 42.2s. His addition to the team will surely add some excitement as well as fast times ahead! On June 25th, the team took to the streets of Toronto to run another fabulous RunCRS event #Waterfront10. On a spicy hot day, most members didn't feel up to par but Mr. Mike Bentley had a pb over 10km - 35:31! Tanis was 13th overall female (38:56), Rob - 18th overall (32:33), Josh was 14th overall (31:37), Tyler debuts GRE in 36:34, and Mike T was 38:22.

Runner Rob took on Waterloo Classic on June 19th/16 as a solo GRE fighter and won the 5k in an official time of 16:09. He loves running and defending his title in these close to home races.

Ekiden Toronto Relay
The whole crew took on Ekiden (June 16th) which is a race Black Lungs Toronto hosts on the Leslie St. Spit. It is a relay where each member runs a specific distance and whichever team has the lowest cumulative time wins. Times were irrelevant because we were having a blast! Check out our sexy headbands. #sexyunicorns

South Coast Marathon
Runner Rob took on his marathon a few weeks later than expected after he also was sick the weekend of Calgary where he was supposed to race at Ottawa Race Weekend. Rob took on the South Coast Marathon on June 6th and won the race. He also ran a great time 2:32:01. It was unfortunate that the lead vehicle lead him the wrong way to finish 1km short but he still ran an amazing time on the hilliest marathon course you could imagine.

Josh and Tanis flew out to Calgary to race the Canadian Half Marathon championships on May 29th/16. Tanis unfortunately was unable to compete due to illness but Josh killed it with a 1:10flat at altitude with a 5th place overall finish.

Sporting Life 10km
On Sunday May 8th Rob Brouillette took to the big streets of Toronto for a 10km. This race is one of the biggest in Canada with over 18500 participants in wave starts.The fastest runners start at 730am moving to the slowest with each wave starting anywhere from 5-15 minutes apart. With Rob being one of the fastest in the race it was an early start for Rob as well as Tanis and Josh who went to watch. Rob was looking to crush his previous pb and that's exactly what he did running 1 minute 45 seconds faster than he did last year on the same course at the Yonge Street 10km. Rob crossed the line 9th overall in 31:34 and within 15 seconds of 3 other runners ahead. This was a huge confidence booster for Rob going into his peak race Ottawa Marathon at the end of May.
Crazy GRE weekend: Terra Cotta trail race, Mississauga 10, half & marathon. Goodlife Marathon
First of all this has to be the biggest and most successful weekend for the Grand River Endurance Running Club. It all started on Saturday April 31st in the morning with Mike Bentley taking a 1st overall finish in the 5 peaks Terra Cotta sport division trail race winning by 24 seconds over the 2nd place finisher. That evening both Josh and Tanis ran in the Mississauga 10km with Josh coming 2nd overall in a personal best time of 30:52 and Tanis winning 1st overall female in a time of 37:20. The following morning Rob Brouillette had a break out performance in terrible conditions running a speedy 1:10:20 for 1st overall in the Mississauga half-marathon which was 1 minute 34 second improvement. In the Mississauga Marathon Mike Thornton ran a personal best by over 6 minutes a, first time sub 3hours to place 18th overall in 2:56:32. 25 minutes down the road Heather Colasuonno ran in the Goodlife Marathon running 3:09:35 in her debut marathon.
Brantford Classic 10km
Mike Thornton took part in this years Brantford Classic 10km and came away with his 1st overall win in the 10km event running 37:41 which was only slightly off his current 10km personal best.
Banque Scotia 21k de Montreal
Tanis and Josh made the trek down to Montreal to race the half-marathon. Originally both tanis and Josh were going to run the Mississauga half-marathon but Canadian running Series elite coordinator invited them to race and both of them had never been to Montreal so it only made sense. The morning of the race the weather was nearly perfect 7 degrees, sunny and only a slight breeze. Tanis Smith crossed the line in 1:22:14 which placed her as 4th overall female despite having some fatigue issues leading up to the race. Josh Bolton ran a smart race with a pack of 3 runners from 10km to 20km until he took the lead and kicked to the finish for 3rd overall in 1:07:40 behind Kip and Sami. This was a 1 minute 20 second Personal best from the time he ran in the Chilly half-marathon.
Race Roster 8km in Toronto
3 members of Grand River Endurance raced the Race Roster 8km in High Park, Toronto. Newest member of Grand River Endurance debuted and we were all excited to see him wear the race singlet. Rob Brouillette has been doing workouts with GRE since after Chilly half-marathon and it has been exciting to have him out grinding through workouts and runs. So at the start line Tanis, Josh and Rob were all ready to put down a fast 8km. Josh had a solid race to finish 3rd overall in a time of 25:20, Rob was 12th overall in a time of 26:33 which was 1min faster than he had run last year. Tanis Smith was 6th overall female in a time of 30:26 which was a new pb over the 8km distance. Big shout out to Mike Bentley and Mike Thornton for yelling at us to get up the brutal hill at the end.
Around the Bay 5k/30km
On Sunday April 3rd 3 members of Grand River Endurance raced: Heather took on the 30km in preparation for Goodlife Marathon. Josh and Tanis ran the 5km. In the 5km Josh ran tactically to take the win and was the first person across the line for the day running a time of 15:03. Tanis placed 4th overall in a deep women's field running 18:17 her 2nd fastest 5km ever. After Tanis and Josh finished they put on some warm stuff and headed down the 30km course to pace Heather into the First Ontario Center for about the last 2.5km of the race. Heather ran a stellar race smashing last years time by over 4 minutes running 2:09.20 and placing 5th in her age category.
St. Patrick's Achilles 5km
Mike Bentley took to the streets of Toronto on March 13 to race the 5km. Mike Bentley had a great race running a huge 5km PB of 17:03 which placed him 12th overall in a very stacked field of runners. Mike will be gearing up for a fast 10km in Toronto at the end of June at the new Toronto Waterfront 10km.
St Patrick's 5km Hamilton
Tanis and Josh took on a 5km in Hamilton. Tanis 4th overall 1st female in a time of 18:43 and Josh was 1st overall in 15:43 which was a tune up for Around the Bay 5km they are both racing 2 weeks after.
Chilly half-marathon
3 members of the club took to the streets of Burlington for the annual Chilly half-marathon. This race attracts those gearing up for their spring season and to see where the fitness is at or to get some race experience before the season begins. Josh, Mike and Heather were alł looking for PB's as training was good leading up and conditions were better than normal for this time of year. Josh ran a new PB of 1:09.00 and 2nd overall behind a strong Tristan Woodfine, Heather placed 10th overall female, 1st in her age category and ran a new PB of 1:25.09. Mike came away with his second fastest ever half-marathon in 1:21.50.
Re-Fridgee Eighter 8k/8mile
We will start with the race results from the 8km/8mile and then get into the events that proceeded the race. Heather Colasuonno took on the 8km race which she did as tempo as this was the first race of her season, she had a great result to finish 17th overall and 6th female in the race. Tanis Smith and Josh Bolton ran the 8 mile race. Josh finished first overall and set the course record of 41:07 only 5 seconds under the previous record. Tanis Smith finished 1st overall in a time of 49:03 a great start to her season as well.
The events that took place after everyone crossed the line was why everyone was there. Only a brief 20 seconds after Tanis Smith crossed the line Josh Bolton got down on one knee to propose to Tanis. Between trying to catch her breath, smile and cry tanis said yes. Everyone around was clapping and cheering it was an amazing thing to witness and be apart of. What made the day that much more special was to have Tanis dad there, Josh brother and his girlfriend and Grand River Endurance teammates Heather and mike there. Its amazing when you have such a supportive group as GRE.

Boxing day 10miler
Mike Thornton took to the streets of Hamilton on Boxing Day 2015 to run the classic race. Mike had a strong race to set a new 10mile personal best on this tough course running 1:02:26 and 3rd overall in his age group, 20-24.
Reggae Marathon
Heather and her family took a trip to Jamaica, where they enjoyed the sun and beautiful weather. Heather also took on a half-marathon. Despite the warm conditions Heather won the half-marathon in a time of 1:27.21 and took home some well deserved prize money. Congrats on the race win Heather you made GRE proud abroad.
Toronto Scotia-bank marathon weekend
4 members of Grand River Endurance took part in the Scotiabank half-marathon this was the peak race for John, Mike, Tanis and Josh. John Miles placed 103rd overall out of over 10 thousand runners in 1:22.58, Mike Thornton placed 66th overall in a personal best time of 1:20.13, Tanis smith was 75th overall 6th place female in 1:20.50 a new personal best as well. Josh Bolton placed 5th overall in a new personal best of 1:09.12. It was a great day for GRE with all members running to their full potential.
RunAjax Half-Marathon
3 GRE members stayed local and raced RunAjax which took place at the Ajax waterfront on Sept. 27th. This was Heather's goal race and Josh and Tanis used it as a tune-up for Scotiabank. GRE members in training Ceres and Navaro also took part in the race running the kids 1k. Heather had an amazing race coming in 4th overall female finishing in a time of 1:25:48 a new pb of almost 2 minutes! Tanis also pb'd over the 21.1k distance coming in 3rd overall female and finished with a time of 1:21:45. Josh won the men's half marathon in a second best ever time of 1:10:29 in a solo effort on a hilly course.

Josh and Tanis headed to Burlington to race Eaton Downtown Dash on September 19th. Tanis ran the 5k in a time of 18:20 to take the top overall female position. Josh ran the out and back course 10km running solo and finished 1st overall in a time of 32:27. This was a very windy day and course that was winding. |
Toronto Island 10km & B&O Yorkville 5k
The GRE crew took to the roads early in September to get the wheels turning. Tanis and Josh took on the 10km at Toronto Island Longboat. Josh finished 4th overall in a very competitive men's race which included Olympian Reid Coolsaet. He finished in a time of 32:23 for 10km. Tanis won first overall female in a new personal best of 37:05.
Mike had the performance of the day running a huge personal best at Yorkville 5k in a time of 17:27. He embraced the speedy competitors and just went for it! Very successful weekend all around.

Josh Bolton and Tanis Smith took on the 10.549k race in Oshawa on July 25th 2015. Josh battled many competitors to come out 3rd overall male in a time of 33:31 in a very competitive field. Tanis ended up in no-man's race for a solo effort of 39:32 placing 2nd overall female with a course pb of over 1 minute from last year's race. They both pushed themselves to their fullest abilities on the day. The tough hilly course was a boost for the upcoming fall season. The NorthFace Endurance Challenge
Mike Bentley and Nicole Bradbury took on the North Face Endurance Challenge Sat. July 18th at Blue Mountain. Besides the fact that it was a trail race in the mountains, it was also 40 degree weather that day making it true to it's name, a challenge. Mike Bentley had a fantastic result winning the trail 10k in 57:22. With the win, he had to perk of meeting Dean Karnazes one of the top ultra-marathoners of all time. Nicole had a blast running the marathon relay on a tough, hilly course with soaring temperatures. She ran the 3.5k leg and the 8.5k leg in a great time. Congrats to both of them!

Mike Thornton took on the roads at PeachBud in Grimbsy on Tuesday June 30th. He ran a strong 10km finishing in 37:50 and 3rd in his Age group. A great strong effort for Mike!

Vancouver Scotiabank Half-Marathon
Heather jumped on a plane and made her way to Vancouver for the Scotiabank Half-Marathon which took place Sunday June 28th. After a long build up and coming off a 5k pb, she was excited to see what that would mean for her half time. It was a hot one out there as she toed the line race day but she pushed on and came home in 1:27:41, a personal best (was 1:28:12)! This time placed her 3rd in her age category and 13th overall female! Post race celebrations involved checking out the views of Vancouver on top of Grouse Peak. Congrats Heather!

Tanis Smith and Josh Bolton spent a week vacationing in Ireland. The first day they landed they ran a 5km race in Phoenix park which is the largest park in all of Europe. Tanis and Josh were both jet lagged and tired but they did the race anyways for the experience and fun. The race was two 2.5km loops. In the middle of the race a heard of about 40 wild deer ran across the race path which added excitement to an already amazing experience. Both Tanis Smith and Josh Bolton won overall female and male, with Tanis running a new 5km Pb of 18:07.

On June 8 members of Grand River Endurance took to the streets of Mississauga to take on the Bread and Honey 5km and 15km. Both Mike Thornton and Heather Colasuonno ran for PB's which both of them came away with. Mike Thornton placed 17th overall and 5th in his age category running a new PB of 18:17. Heather Colasuonno also ran a new PB of 18:21 which placed her 2nd overall in the race! Mike and Heather worked together the whole race to push each other to their limits.The 15km featured a very strong performance from Tanis Smith who ran away from the competition to place 1st overall in the race in a time of 57:25, Tanis lead from wire to wire and bested last years time in this race by 5 minutes. Josh Bolton ran the 15km a little under the weather but came away with a 5th place overall finish.

12 Mile Creek Trail Half
Ryan Gagnon competed back to back to back weekends and raced 12 MileCreek on Sat June 6th. He completed the race in a time of 1:26:37 and was 3rd overall just on the heels of second place. This was a trail half pb for Ryan. Averaging 4:06s for a trail half is tough! Congrats!

On Sunday May 31 Mike Thornton raced in the Dairy Capital 5km. Mike Thornton went into this race looking to run a new 5km PB. With rainy and windy conditions as well as a hilly course ahead Mike ran for effort and placing. Mike Thornton broke the tape in a time of 18:56 and a 3rd place overall podium finish. Big Congrats to Mike for staying tough in nonideal conditions.

5 peaks Heart Lake trail race
Most of Grand River Endurance took on the tough trails in the 5peaks Heart lake race on Saturday May 30. New member Ryan Gagnon ran with Josh Bolton in the Enduro (16km) and Heather Colasuonno, Tanis Smith and Nicole Bradbury took on the sport (8km) course. Ryan Gagnon placed 16th overall and 6th in his age group in a time of 1:21.35, Ryan was still recovering from a half marathon trail race the weekend before, a great result on tired legs. Josh Bolton placed 1st overall in a time of 1:04.47 and a new experience being his first trail race. Tanis Smith placed 3rd overall and 1st female across the line in the sport course in a time of 35:32, this was also Tanis first trail race and an amazing result. Heather Colasuonno is a 5peaks ambassador and ran the sport course as a fun workout. Even so Heather placed 4th overall female in a time of 38:04. Nicole Bradbury a new member of the GRE squad running in her first trail race placing 8th in her age category in a time of 53:40. Team members Mike Thorton and Mike Bentley came to the race to support the rest of the members racing and took some great pictures. As a team Grand River Endurance placed 4th overall. Most of the team will be taking to the streets of Mississauga to race the Bread and Honey 5km or 15km.

On Sunday May 24 Ryan Gagnon went state side to run some tough trails over the half marathon distance. Ryan had a great result finishing 12th overall and 1st in the 18-24 age category. The course was very technical with large uphills and even some water crossings.

Mississauga Recharge with Milk Half-Marathon
Josh Bolton ended his spring season with a bang May 1st with a half-marathon. Representing Skechers Performance Division, Josh finished in a blazing time of 1:10:10, a near 2 minute personal best!! This was Josh's 2nd ever race effort for the half-marathon distance. He placed 3rd overall in the race and 2nd in his age-group. There was a great comradery between Josh and fellow Skechers athlete Matt Leduc who worked together through 15km of the race pushing each other to reach their limits. |
5 Peaks Race #1 and Brantford Classic 10km
Heather Colasuonno competed in the 5 peaks Enduro race. She placed 4th overall female and 1st in her age category in her first ever trail race. She represented her sponsors Altra shoes and had the opportunity to introduce trail racers to the brand. Back in Brantford, Josh and Tanis competed in the Brantford Classic 10km race winning the overall male and female 10k titles. This was the first race back post-injury for Tanis and she was excited to get back out there. Post-race was followed by sushi of course. |
Yonge Street 10km
On Sunday April 19 Heather, Mike and Josh took to the streets of Toronto to run in the Toronto Yonge street 10km. Every year this race attracts a large number of competitive runners. GRE's Mike Thornton ran a new personal best of 37:31 while running a huge negative split over the last 5km. Heather Colasuonno ran a quick 38:12 and was 3rd in the 30-34 age category which had 545 runners. Josh Bolton ran a new personal best of 31:15 and a 12th place finish. Overall it was a great day for GRE members with some PB's and age category placings. Post-race the group enjoyed some well deserved brunch! |

TYLER'S TRACK UR 1500m RESULTS
GRE's Tyler Van Leeuwen raced at University of Rochester and ran a 4:07 1500m and placed 6th overall. This was very close to a pb for Tyler and we are proud of him for the hard-work and commitment that he put in this year! Next weekend Tyler will be looking for a PB in the 800m.

AROUND THE BAY 5K & 30K
The GRE crew took on Around the Bay road races on March 29th, 2015. It was a chilly morning and a bit windy in sections of the course which made for tough race conditions for both the 30k and 5k. Josh Bolton took on the Bay and Back 5k for the first time with the podium in his sights. He finished an amazing 4th place overall in a time of 15:34 sporting his new Skechers race kit! As for the 30k, Mike Thornton was aiming for a shiny new pb and Heather Colasuonno was taking on the distance for the first time ever. Mike Thornton ran an amazing race and finished in 2:03:29 earning him 8:41 pb from last year's bay and almost 20 minutes faster than two years ago! What a progression! Heather finished her very first 30km in 2:13:22 earning her the "gold" finisher medal! All this despite stopping 3 times to massage out a pesky foot cramp/spasm. This also placed her 47th female overall - way to go! The group celebrated with some awesome burgers and fries at The Works. Up next - Yonge Street 10km!

GRE's, Mike Thornton traveled to Burlington on Sunday, March 1st to compete in the Chilly Half Marathon. With a break in the temperatures, -6 with "only" a wind chill of -9 the day offered the chance for some fast times. Many elites were in the field including Canada's 3rd fastest Marathoner of all time, Olympian Reid Coolsaet. Mike took the race out conservatively, steadily increasing his pace with each km, crossing the finish line in a new personal best of 1:24:46. Great racing Mike!!

On an absolutely beautiful day in Hamilton, some GRE members competed in the 94th annual Boxing Day 10miler. The great weather brought out some fast runners and a deep field of 635. Alec Braithwaite led the way finishing 13th overall, 2nd M35 in a new PR of 55:47. Matt Kings was 23rd overall in a time of 58:38 and Kevin Farr finished 27th overall, 2nd M40 in a time of 59:18

Niagara Falls International Half Marathon
(8 photos)The GRE crew was at the Niagara international half marathon on the weekend. With very gusty head winds, the Crew had some stellar results . Tanis Smith placed 3rd overall female and 16th overall, Tanis had a P.B. time of 1:22.33 and recieve...d a $300.00 pay day for her hard fought efforts. Kevin Farr placed 2nd master and 10th overall in a time of 1:19.17. Kevin out sprinted the 3rd place master runner at the finish to get his result. Kevin recieved a $250.00 pay day for his grinding efforts and his inspiring finish. Josh Bolton placed 4th overall male in a P.B. time of 1:11.52 , fighting through the wind and nasty cramp/stitch mid race , an extremely impressive result on this day! Alec Braithwaite placed 11th overall, while doing a masterful job of pacing Kevin for the entire distance, in a P.B. time of 1:19.18 . This was a goal race for Tanis, Josh ,and Kevin . The GRE crew couldn't be prouder of you guys .. Well Done !! |

The GRE crew traveled to Toronto to compete in the Toronto 10 miler and 5km road races on Sunday, September 28. One of the prettiest race routes in the city, the Toronto 10-Miler takes you through and around Tommy Thompson Park, long known as ‘the Leslie Street Spit’. The trip proved very successful as both Josh Bolton, 1st in the 10 mile in a time of 53:02 and Alec Braithwaite 1st in the 5km in a time of 16:26 claimed overall victories. Tanis Smith added another podium finish, as she was 3rd overall woman in the 10 mile in a time of 1:02:37.

GRE's Tyler Van Leeuwen has added another PR to his successful Collegiate Sophomore season leading his Niagara Purple Eagle squad at 2014 National Catholic Championships on September 19th at the Notre Dame Golf Course. Tyler covered the 5 mile course in a time of 26:35.76.

Tanis crossed the line in a time of 37:19 which placed her second overall woman behind Canada's top female distance runner, Lanni Marchant. Josh Bolton, competing in the Toronto Island 5km finished 3rd overall in a very quick time of 15:16. Excellent result for Josh coming off Half Marathon training. Alec Braithwaite added a third podium finish for Grand River Elite, picking up a bronze at the Athletics Canada/Canadian Masters 5km Road Race Championships. Alec finished in a time of 15:59 on a very hilly course. Congrats to all on a great day.

Two GRE athletes took part in the Subway Durham 1/4 Marathon (10.549km) on Saturday July 26th in Oshawa, ON. Josh Bolton, finished second overall in a time of 35:26. Tanis Smith, finished 3rd overall woman and 10th overall in a time of 40:56.
